One of the most attractive and singular walks we can do in the Alcornocales Natural Park (Andalusia). Our route starts on the old Facinas to Los Barrios road, now a forest track, from which the footpath sets out.

The vegetation that surrounds the Risco Blanco narrow stream valley is exuberant along the whole route, like a true subtropical forest. The temperature and humidity, the shade and luxuriance are characteristic of this peculiar narrow river valley. Laurels, rhododendrons, buckthorns, cotoneasters, alders, together with hollies and rare ferns will accompany us on our walk.

The sticky environment can make this walk reminiscent of an excursion in a Caribbean country. Ivy covers the gall-oaks and the alder trees scattering its wool which on foggy days gives the scene a phantasmagorical look. A special and surprising place. Fun is guaranteed.
