These are some of our favourite places to dive: Enguaero An amazing place for the privileged observation of migratory species. Especially in spring, when they migrate to the Mediterranean, we can see large shoals of mackerel, horse mackerel and tuna fish. Los Dados This is a protected area with an artificial reef formed by hollow cubes. Though it is of recent construction and there the are still not a lot of creatures covering the cubes, already there are many fishes prowling around the place. La Gabarra This is really the Miau, a large barge used for transporting ore which sank in 1950. Moray and conger eels live amongst the timbers of the boat guarded by sea bream and gold bream. Los Boquetes This immersion point is four miles south-east of Barbate harbour. It is a large rocky area where we can make uncountable dives with an average depth of 15 metres. Inside the rocks, which a full of perfectly round holes, we can see anemones in various tones, as well as breams, gold bream, mullet and spider crabs. An area full of life and suitable for beginners.
